Anna is a specialist in performance leadership.  She helps individuals and organisations to hold quality conversations that have a direct impact on productivity, with particular expertise in those toughest of challenges, face-to-face feedback and appraisal.

Anna’s deep understanding of this topic has been honed over more than 25 years’ experience from both sides of the fence.  From the internal perspective she was most recently Global Director, Learning and Development for KPMG, where she developed multicultural performance management skills across 144 countries and more than 145,000 people.

As an external consultant her work has ranged from board-level skills training through to the design of complete organisational performance management systems.

A highly experienced facilitator, she has personally delivered more than 300 performance management workshops in over 30 countries including the US, China, Brazil, India, and the UK, in addition to Hong Kong.  Her client base is similarly diverse, ranging from hospitality to telecomms, government bodies to professional services and more.

Her unique take on how to hold a great performance conversation is based on a career of examining why they are usually so painful and what can be done about it.  Throughout her roles in the Royal Navy, Cathay Pacific and latterly KPMG, her approach has been to cut through models and lists of do’s and don’ts, looking instead at the actual conversation and the words that work.

Her programmes can be best described as entertaining and interactive; they are packed with practical skills, the latest learning and more than a few war stories.
